The Head of Onboarding is responsible for all aspects of managing the end to end on-boarding, off-boarding and maintenance of new and existing accounts. You will be leading the Onboarding team and be a key part of the GPP client journey.


  • Co-ordinating the new client pipeline and working with key stakeholders across the firm to agree and meet deadlines for new account openings across all GPP business lines
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with internal teams, to include (but not limited to) Sales, Compliance, Trading, Operations & Legal
  • Manage client communications throughout the process to ensure that all parties are fully informed and that expectations are managed and met. Ensure that key controls are maintained
  • Provide regular necessary onboarding stats for management information purposes and work with finance to ensure revenue reporting is correctly grouped and recorded
  • Take ownership of weekly sales – onboarding meetings
  • Collaborate with tech team and other business areas to drive constant improvements in the onboarding process as well as in the client experience
  • Maintain pipeline of clients onboarding and provide regular detailed and accurate status updates
  • Coordinate internal account setup and ensure timely four eye checks take place
  • Managing responses to Client Due Diligence Requests, collating information from multiple teams where necessary and providing timely responses


  • Excellent oral and written communication Skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements surrounding anti-money laundering (AML), Client Money (CASS)
  • Keen interest in the Financial Services Industry
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A proactive, can-do, customer focused attitude
  • Superior organisational and time management skills
  • Previous experience in the Financial Services Industry


  • Previous Experience of Prime Brokerage
  • Understanding of Hedge Fund Strategies and differing fund structure types
